Diana claims that by the end of the book you'll know exactly what to wear in any business situation. You'll be able to identify what's appropriate in your industry, location and company and know exactly what elements of dress you need to wear to produce the response you want.

This is a big claim! I decided to review the ebook to see if it lived up to this claim. Here is what I found out...

Understanding Appropriate Business Attire for Women

The Business Wear Magic ebook is easy to read, informative and entertaining. It gives a system for identifying what to wear in any business situation by identifying and defining 4 levels of business wear (illustrated with plenty of photos) and showing you how to apply that to your particular company, industry, location and event or activity.

Levels of Business Attire for Women

Did you know that there are 4 levels of business attire? If so do you know what they are? You will have a very clear understanding of what they are and how to apply them to your situation when you have finished this book! Most of the Business Wear Magic ebook is concerned with comprehensively answering this question. 

Diana details what the business attire levels are, for what situations they are appropriate and how to apply them to your situation (whatever it may be). To make sure we fully understand what the levels of dress are she also gives us plenty of descriptive examples and photos of clothes and accessories for each of the dress code levels. 

Everything you need to know about business casual attire is included in the information on business dress code levels.

Diana also fully covers (pardon the pun) with the controversial issues of hosiery, exposing shoulders and showing toes.

The only improvement I could suggest is an update the clothing photos. The book was published in 2004 and so some of the styles shown in the photos are a bit dated. This, of course, is an issue with any book showing pictures of contemporary clothing. However, the pictures do work to illustrate and fully understand the dress code levels.

You can also begin to see how the concept of levels of dressing can be extended to cover non-work events and activities as well (this is covered in more detail in Occasion Magic).

Review Summary: The Business Wear Magic ebook does indeed let you know exactly what to wear in any business situation. It also provides plenty of pictures of clothes to make sure we understand exactly what is meant. 

If you don't understand the levels of business dress and which level is appropriate for which situation you are at serious risk of being passed over for a job, either at the interview stage or when being considered for promotion. However, if you follow the guidelines in the Business Wear Magic ebook you will ensure this doesn't happen to you!

This book offers excellent value for money.
