Pale pastel colours

I've seen a lot of pastel and soft pale colours around like light beige, pale pinks, whites, creams and peach.
I really like these colours and they look good on alot of people, but tend to not 'make a statement' and for more out going people they may tone them down. They look really feminine and sweet though and look really nice with pearls, diamonds and gold.

Hi Amy

You're right, there are a lot of pale neutrals around this season (colours we'd normally associate with warmer weather).

The thing with this look is that you need to have the right colouring to carry it off without looking washed out. It's to do with contrast levels. Most people need a definite contrast level between their top and their skin and hair colour.

And as you've realised, even on people who suit low contrast levels, it can make them 'disappear'. Which is fine if they want to go under the radar, but not good if they need to command attention!
